High Mesa Counseling and Wellness
As a therapist, mother, and outdoor enthusiast, I understand that life can be both beautiful and challenging. Some seasons bring joy and growth, while others bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional struggles that can feel difficult to navigate alone.
My passion is helping children and families move through those challenges with greater confidence, connection, and resilience.
I am certified in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), am a Nationally Certified Counselor, and hold a master’s degree in Counseling from Oregon State University Cascades with professional memberships in the ACA and ACAC.
I specialize in working with children, parents, and families who are facing anxiety, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I believe every child deserves a safe space where they can express themselves freely, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I strive to create an environment where children feel comfortable being themselves and where parents feel supported throughout the therapeutic process.
Through play, creativity, conversation, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, I help children better understand their emotions, strengthen their coping abilities, and develop skills that support lasting growth.
My approach is warm, supportive, and evidence-based, integrating play therapy, CBT, behavioral strategies, and attachment-informed care. Sessions are interactive and tailored to each child, with the goal of helping them feel safe, understood, and supported.
Therapy begins by understanding your child’s needs, your concerns, and your family goals. Sessions typically include individual time with your child, collaboration with parents, practical tools for home, and ongoing progress updates. You’ll be supported throughout the entire process.
I work closely with caregivers to help them understand their child’s needs and provide practical tools for emotional and behavioral support at home. Together, we focus on improving communication, strengthening connection, and supporting lasting change for the whole family.
Outside the therapy office, you’ll often find me spending time with my family, skiing, practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying time with my dogs.
I believe healing happens through connection, and I strive to bring authenticity, warmth, and compassion into every session
I understand that parenting a struggling child can feel overwhelming, emotional, and sometimes isolating.
I also know that children don’t act out because they are “bad”; they are communicating something they don’t yet have the words for.
My passion is helping children feel understood in those moments, and helping families move from stress and uncertainty toward connection and stability.
If you’re considering therapy for your child, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you ask questions, share concerns, and decide whether this feels like the right fit for your family. You don’t have to navigate this alone—support is here when you’re ready.
